I took my cat to see a documentary he was featured in only to lose him about halfway through the screening. Days of searching the festival grounds led me to find a small room below the lavatories. Here six men slumped like playdough were smoking baby forumla. I noticed the one with strabismus eyes first—he was shaving patches off my cat’s back. And a man next to him was felting. I then realised these awful looking men were wearing cossack hats—black with patches of brown, flaps covering the ears—my cat's fur. Grief came over me, shivers in my torso and hands. It wasn’t anger, something closer to confusion. I grabbed my bald cat and left without a word. We walked out of the festival the same way we had come in.

No digital equipment was used in the making of this album.
